About Jonas Reynders

Jonas Reynders is a passionate furniture designer. From the age of 17 he discovered his passion for metalworking and this fascination has shaped him into the designer he is today. In 2004 he learned the basics of working with metals from his first employer, a self-employed metalworker. He taught him to always remain self-critical and to work meticulously. That inspired Jonas to design to perfection and create his own pieces. Enchanted by this special feeling, he made his first coffee table after a few years. This table marked the beginning of Jonas’s story.

In 2015 he decided to travel the world for a year. When he came back, he brought a new backpack full of experiences and was able to think more out of the box. For the next 3 years he worked with a painter/sandblaster and expanded his knowledge of new materials.

After all these years of getting to know himself and his passion, he started designing his own furniture. Every challenge he has overcome so far has only broadened his love for natural ingredients. By using pure ingredients such as metal, natural stone, wood, etc., he guaranteed that each piece was a work of art in itself. It was the unique character of the materials that led him on his path.

Jonas’s work symbolizes sustainability and authenticity. The honesty of metal is the driving force behind his creations. Each piece is unique and made with the utmost care. His goal is to create unique and refined designs by bringing together a combination of materials on metal with its own touch.
